Tottenham star Kyle Walker has shared that academy sensation Kyle Walker-Peters has stood out whenever he’s trained with the first team.
The 19-year-old right-back has not yet made his senior debut for Spurs, but he is considered a bright prospect and he was handed a new contract last week, taking him up to 2019.
Current senior full-back Walker shared that he believes the new deal is fully deserved for Walker-Peters and even said that he has been impressed by him in training.
“I speak to Kyle on a daily basis, he’s always asking questions,” said Walker, as quoted by the Independent.
“He’s been fantastic playing in the reserves and whenever he’s trained with us he’s stood out to be honest. He deserves his new contract.”

Walker, 26, has seemingly come on leaps and bounds after moving to north London from Sheffield United in 2009 at the age of 19.
He joined in a £9million move alongside Kyle Naughton and while the latter struggled to establish himself at Spurs, Walker has taken the step up with ease.
He is currently considered one of the best full-backs in England alongside teammate Danny Rose, featuring in 28 matches in all competitions this season in a very impressive Spurs team.
Walker is still contracted with Tottenham until 2021 and it is expected that he still has many years at the top level in his locker, meaning Walker-Peters may have to wait a while longer before becoming a regular feature in the first team.
