Tottenham fans share anger towards Pochettino following substitution v Fulham

By Harvey Byrne

Tottenham fans shared their anger towards manager Mauricio Pochettino after he brought on Moussa Sissoko instead of Vincent Janssen against Fulham on Sunday.

The north London club ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup fifth round with a hat-trick from Harry Kane confirming their passage into the quarter-final round.

However, the occasion saw another game pass Janssen by without seeing any time out on the pitch.

Fans already expressed their fury towards Pochettino for not playing young starlet Marcus Edwards and they have done so once more as many on social media were keen to see Janssen come on to the pitch before Sissoko.

Some even went as far to call it a disgraceful decision by Pochettino.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Janssen made the £17million move to Tottenham in the summer from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

Meanwhile, Sissoko cost considerably more with the north London club shelling out a massive £30million for the 27-year-old after he was relegated with Newcastle.

It is fair to say that both have been poor in their Spurs career so far, but with Janssen five years younger it may be more beneficial for Pochettino to keep his faith in the Holland international.
