Insider: Key West Ham attacker ruled out of PL clash v Chelsea (not Antonio)
West Ham are going to have to take on Chelsea in the Premier League without Manuel Lanzini, according to an Insider.
ExWHUemployee, a solid source of West Ham news, reported that the player would not make the game on Sunday.
He did say that Javier Hernandez would be available for the 4.30pm kick-off.
Lanzini is unfortunately out for the game as predicted, hernandez is however available ⚒

David Moyes had hoped that Lanzini would be available, despite a knee injury.
Talking to the West Ham official website he said: “Manu is back running, but he was running last week. He’s got a medial ligament injury which affects his turning and twisting. He’s able to run in straight lines at the moment.
“I’m hoping for an update on Saturday to see how he is, so I wouldn’t completely rule him out, but at the moment I’d say he’s a doubt.”

Football Insider verdict:
It looks like the doubt has turned into a certainty and West Ham will have to do without their mercurial attacker. Lanzini might not have hit the heights of last season, but he has still contributed three goals and six assists in his 21 league games. He’ll be a big miss against Chelsea, although it’s a game that West Ham will be hoping to get something out of, as opposed to expecting. After yesterday’s game, Moyes’ side is in 14th place and five points above the drop zone. A point would be a brilliant result.
