'Last thing we need' - West Ham fans react to devastating international injury blow
By Laura O’Leary
West Ham fans took to social media to vent their anger and disappointment after seeing Javier Hernandez go off injured for Mexico.
The striker was substituted in the 51st minute during an international friendly with Belgium on Friday, after he went down clutching his hamstring in what was his 100th appearance for his country.
The 29-year-old won a penalty for his nation, which Andres Guardado converted in the 38th minute.
The friendly ended 3-3 between the two nations, and Mexico are set to play another friendly against Poland on Monday night.
The striker has featured in 13 games for West Ham across all competitions this season and has scored four goals.

Hernandez has been at the Hammers since the summer, after joining from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2017.
The 29-year-old signed a contract that will keep him with the club until June 2020.
West Ham currently find themselves in the relegation zone after playing the first 11 league games of the season.
The poor start saw Slaven Bilic leave the club and be replaced by David Moyes as manager.
