Leeds United supporters have been calling for Everton manager Sam Allardyce to replace Paul Heckingbottom at Elland Road should Big Sam receive his marching orders which is imminent according to a report.
The Mirror revealed on Monday that Big Sam would be shown the exit door at Goodison Park “within 48 hours” which has led to Whites fans clamouring for their club to sign the former England manager.
Big Sam has failed to endear himself to the Everton faithful this season despite hauling the club to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League.
Toffees owner, Farhad Moshiri appointed the Blues boss following on from Ronald Koeman’s sacking, after the Dutchman struggled to gain any kind of momentum at the start of the season, and as a result, was shown the exit door.
Now it would seem that Allardyce will face the same fate in the coming hours but judging by the comments on social media, the 63-year-old would be more than a welcome addition at Elland Road, particularly in light of their own manager’s failure to impress since taking over from Thomas Christiansen.
Here is a round-up of some reactions on social media from Whites supporters:
