Leeds United fell to a 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa in the Championship on Friday night but it was the statistic produced by one player in particular that had the Whites faithful up in arms.

Despite the disappointment of the result, it was a much-improved display from Paul Heckingbottom’s side who have been accused of lacking fight and heart of late.

But the Whites had no answer to a Lewis Grabban header in the first-half  that meant the Yorkshire outfit could not add to their 12 points tally total since Boxing Day.

According to LUFCDATA on Twitter, Jay-Roy Grot failed to complete one pass in the entirety of his performance against the Claret and Blues.

Grot replaced Ezgjan Alioski in the 66th minute, meaning in 24 minutes plus stoppage time he did nothing to warrant his inclusion in the team.

The 20-year-old only arrived at the club from Dutch side Nijmegen and it’s fair to say that supporters haven’t exactly been impressed by the forward.

And statistics like this won’t help to change their opinion on the player who has scored just once in the Championship this season.

Here is what Leeds fans had to say about the statistic on Twitter:
