'Absolute joke', 'Has to be a record', 'Embarrassing' – Leeds fans fume at latest club news
Leeds fans have reacted after the latest bans were confirmed by the FA.
Liam Cooper has been suspended for four games after his second red card of the season in the game against Millwall.
Kalvin Phillips gets a two-match ban for picking up his 10th caution of the season.
They join Samu Saiz and Eunan O’Kane as Thomas Christiansen has to do without four of his first-team players.
The news of the latest bans was announced on Phil Hay’s Twitter page on Tuesday morning – Hay is a senior journalist with the Yorkshire Evening Post.

It’s a damaging blow to Leeds after their star man Samu Saiz was banned for six games for a spitting incident in the FA Cup defeat against Newport.
Leeds have lost both subsequent matches, 1-0 to Ipswich and 4-3 to Millwall.
The results leave them stranded in 10th spit in the league, three points off the play-off places.
Leeds fans were gutted at the news and took to Twitter to berate their players.
Here is a selection of the best reactions from weary fans:
Was a needless reckless tackle which cost us the game. Should give him a 2 week fine like you could do on Championship manager! ????⚽️

No excuse for saiz ban but why the FA don’t punish blatant play acting is beyond me,we had a fake broken nose at Bristol,a bloke got shot at Ipswich and a Millwall player who couldn’t remember which leg was hurting him on sat. Embarrassing imo

To my mind Phillips was unlucky also to be booked.Ref was very quick to book our players not so Millwalls.

Same old story! We are an easy target now!

Hopefully this is the last time we'll see Phillips anywhere near the 1st 11.

Cannot believe we aint appealing coopers

There's the risk of the decision being upheld and the ban being extended. It's the FA's way of saying "Don't question us."

Think this has be a record even for us.

Time to give Anita a game in midfield alongside Forshaw and Vieira #LUFC
— chris (@LeedsLoudHaler) January 23, 2018
Terrible discipline Christiansen needs to get a grip too soft with players @fearners85
— Christian Cadman (@chris70c) January 23, 2018
Both those players may find it difficult to get back in the team again
— richard hunt (@fleetwhite) January 23, 2018
And this is the last of the run of games through Christmas and January which were all ‘winnable’. We now face a month of really tough fixtures having failed to capitalise on the chances we’ve been given, in part at least because of ill-discipline. Grow up #LUFC! #MOT
— adrien herbert (@nflrookieuk) January 23, 2018
We have enough now for a decent #lufc boy banned.
— Gary Måltby (@ArgyMaltby) January 23, 2018
Absoulute joke, the ref was pushed into giving that red by the coaching staff of millwall an millwall players. The FA really are thick as F**k. How they didn't see this is beyond me. But we'll bounce back. ALAW!
