By Amir Mir

Garry Monk is in the running to replace Bob Bradley at Swansea – and Leeds fans on Twitter have told the Premier League club to lay off their manager.

The Welsh club announced on their official website on Tuesday evening that the American has parted company with the club following the 4-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers West Ham on Boxing Day.

He leaves the club in the relegation zone on 12 points from 18 games, having been in charge for only 85 days.

Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have Whites manager Monk in the running at 28/1 to re-join his former club.

Monk was sacked by the club in December 2015 and has subsequently taken over the post at Elland Road.

Fans on Twitter issued a hands-off warning by stating there isn’t a chance Monk will leave Yorkshire for the Welsh outfit.

Supporters stated that current Wales boss Chris Coleman and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs could take over the vacant post at the Liberty Stadium.
