'Wow', 'The next breakthrough player' - Leeds fans rave about wide man after U-23s demolition

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Tom Pearce after his performance for the Under-23s in their 5-1 demolition of Nottingham Forest his afternoon (Friday).
The left-back played a starring role as United’s development team destroyed visitors Forest in the Professional Development League encounter at Thorpe Arch.
Leeds took an early stranglehold on the match through an Oliver Sarkic strike and were 4-1 up at half-time through further goals from Oriol Rey, Adrian Balboa and Paudie O’Connor.
Pearce then put the gloss on a memorable victory with the fifth for the home side midway through the second period to cap an excellent personal display.
Leeds supporters, many of whom watched the match on a live stream, took to social media to rave about the performance of the wide man, 19, who has graduated through the club’s youth team ranks.
Many fans pinpointed Pearce as the star of the show and predicted that he will be the next academy product to graduate into the first team.
