'Utterly daft', 'Immense' – Leeds fans react as Radrizzani admits 'regret' over summer transfer

Andrea Radrizzani said that it was Rob Green’s choice to leave the club over the summer, but some Leeds fans still aren’t happy with the deal.
The Leeds owner was talking in a live Q&A on the LUTV app on Monday lunchtime and the first question was a very direct, “Who got rid of Rob Green?”
He said that Green had wanted a guarantee that he would be the Leeds number one and after that didn’t happen he took a move to Premier League Huddersfield.
Unfortunately that hasn’t worked out for him, with Green making just one EFL Cup appearance all season.
Radrizzani has said that he feels “regret” over the summer transfer for goalkeeper Green after the move hasn’t worked out for him, but tried to distance himself from any of the blame.
Leeds have struggled with goalkeepers this season after new signing Felix Wiedwald was dropped by former manager Thomas Christiansen earlier in the season.
veteran Andy Lonergan stepped in but he was dropped after an unconvincing few games and Wiedwald reinstated.
However, Wiedwald continues to attract criticism and fans are still bitter that the goalkeeper who made 46 appearances for Leeds last season was disposed of, although some think the club was right not to guarantee him his place.
Here are the best reactions from leeds fans after the Radrizzani comments:
