Leeds fans have reacted Twitter after captain Liam Bridcutt was left out of the 18-man squad to face Preston at Elland Road due to injury.
Bridcutt, 27, has been one of the first names on the team sheet in recent matches under manager Garry Monk, but has been completely omitted from the squad on Saturday.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay claimed on his personal Twitter account that the Chelsea academy graduate is missing the clash against Simon Grayson’s side due to injury.
Bridcutt injured and Sacko not in the squad (he had an ankle knock). Nothing been said about Silvestri yet. #lufc

Instead of Bridcutt, Monk has named youngsters Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips in the middle of the park for the Yorkshire giants in what is a must-win game at home.
Leeds posted their side on their Twitter account, which includes three changes. Alfonso Pedraza, Kemar Roofe and Ronaldo Vieira come in for Stuart Dallas, Modou Barrow and Bridcutt.

Leeds will be looking for a repeat of the last time they faced Preston, which resulted in a huge 4-1 win at Deepdale thanks to goals from Souleymane Doukara, Hadi Sacko, Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez.
In other Leeds news, Monk has handed a lifeline to this ostracised 25-year-old.
