Leeds are reportedly interested in bringing Norwich’s Sergi Canos to Elland Road – and fans are delighted on Twitter.

Sky Sports claim on their website that the Yorkshire giants are ready to battle Brentford for the former Liverpool attacker’s signature.

Canos, 19, is already believed to be in talks with his former side Brentford, after spending a season on loan at Griffin Park throughout the 2015-16 campaign.

It is believed that the right winger is open to a January move, but he would rather a return to his old side if a deal can be secured between the Bees and Alex Neil’s Norwich.

However, Leeds fans have reacted in positive fashion on Twitter after learning they were reportedly interested in the out-of-favour attacker with many tweeting Canos in attempt to sway his decision.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Making just five first-team appearances this season, Canos has struggled to gain regular playing time since his summer move with Wes Hoolahan and Steven Naismith preferred.

However, the Spain Under-19s international has scored twice with a brace in the 6-1 EFL Cup win against League One outfit Coventry City.

In other Leeds transfer news, here are three reasons why this 25-year-old should be sold by manager Garry Monk.
