Leeds hit by yet another injury blow after what I've seen from Shackleton in person - pundit
Alan Hutton has insisted Jamie Shackleton’s injury blow will be a big “worry” for Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Scotland defender claimed the 22-year-old will be sorely missed if he joins a casualty list already including star men Patrick Bamford, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch.
Shackleton, who came through the ranks as a tenacious young midfielder, hobbled off after 71 minutes against Norwich City.
He was replaced by 19-year-old Cody Drameh.
Shackleton has filled in on the right-hand side of defence during Ayling’s layoff with a knee injury.
Hutton, who was at Carrow Road to cover the game for BBC Radio, insisted the youngster had been a standout performer.

As such, he admitted his loss would be a bitter blow for Leeds.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “It is a worry because I think he’s been playing really well.
“He is one of those guys who’s aggressive and he gets in about. He doesn’t mind doing the hard yards but he can always get forward.
“Of course it’s a worry. Ayling, I’m not sure how long he’s going to be out for. It seems like they’ve always had problems at the back, even last season we were talking about defensive problems. They’re having it again this season.
“Who’s going to fill in there? I’m not so sure.
“Whether they’ve got someone in mind who can fill that role, we’ll have to wait and see. It is a worry they’ve got yet another injury.”
Sunday’s 2-1 win was Shackleton’s fifth consecutive start for the Whites.
Meanwhile, it was Drameh’s first league appearance since joining the club last summer,
