Confirmed: Heckingbottom 'gutted' as Leeds injury blow threatens Brentford clash
Paul Heckingbottom revealed that he was “gutted” in the post-match press conference following the 2-2 draw with Derby County on Wednesday night.
He also confirmed a major blow for Leeds, with Pablo Hernandez a doubt for the Championship clash with Brentford on Saturday.
The news was posted on Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Adam Pope’s Twitter page following the game at Pride Park.

Heckingbottom believed his side deserved all three points on Wednesday night after leading twice, and conceding a heartbreaking goal deep into stoppage time as it looked like he was going to get his first win as manager.
Unfortunately, the result leaves Leeds’ slim chances of making the play-offs all but gone.
They sit in 11th place in the league, eight points behind Bristol City in sixth.
And now it looks like they’ll have to do without Hernandez for their next game after he was withdraw after 77 minutes against Derby with what turned out to be a muscle injury.
