Championship winger heads to Leeds ahead of possible transfer - insider

Brentford winger Luke Dunn is undergoing a trial at Leeds United, according to an Elland Road insider.
The unofficial Leeds United Academy Twitter account has claimed that the teenager, who is in the London club’s youth set-up, is being assessed by the Yorkshire giants for an unspecified period ahead of a possible transfer.
It is said that the wide midfielder is being looked at by Jason Blunt’s Under-23s rather than the senior side.

Leeds will no doubt be aware that they might be able to lure Dunn, 18, away from Brentford for minimal compensation as he not tied down to a professional contract at the Championship outfit.
Brentford would be loathe to lose the exciting teenager, who has been a regular for their own Under-23s, but they risk losing him due to the ambiguity of his status.

Leeds have a solid track record for developing academy players for senior football, with current first teamers Charlie Taylor, Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips all graduating from the club’s youth ranks as well as 2016 big-money exits Lewis Cook and Sam Byram.
But Blunt’s development side have suffered a horrific string of results this season in which they have lost most of their matches.
The unofficial Leeds United academy account is establishing a reputation as an increasingly reliable source of Leeds youth team news.
The account also revealed last month that Theo Richardson had been told that he was free to leave Leeds and then broke the news that he was undergoing a trial at Manchester United shortly before he signed.
In other Leeds United transfer news, it can be exclusively revealed that the club registered a new signing last month.
