So, yet another game without a win for Paul Heckingbottom, this time against struggling Sunderland.

That makes it just two victories from his 11 league games in charge and fans are getting absolutely sick of it.

In terms of form their side is now nestling down at the bottom, alongside teams like Sunderland.

It’s a far cry from the start of the season, with optimism sky-high under Thomas Christiansen.

However, the foundations that he got to the top of the table on have crumbled and Leeds’ season has fizzled out into disappointment and bitter recriminations.

Leeds fans are brilliant. And they deserve a lot more than they’ve had this season. In fact they deserve a lot more than they’ve had for the past few seasons.

They were in good voice again today at Elland Road and early on they showed they’ve got a good sense of humour when they replied to chants of “We’re f****** shit” from the Sunderland fans with a defiant “And so are we”.

They’ve had to put up with a lot this season and so far they’re not convinced by Heckingbottom. The summer will be key though. If Leeds can buy three or four quality players and bin the players that haven’t performed, Leeds fans could finally have a team that are worthy of them.

Meanwhile there were some big talking points from the 1-1 draw with Sunderland today, which should spell the end of the line for one Leeds player.
