However, the former Manchester City youngster is not Premier League proven, and scored just three goals in 19 Bundesliga appearances last season.
On the other hand, Wilson boasts a strong track record in the English top flight and seems ready to excel for Leeds, where he would be a key man after serving as Alexander Isak’s deputy in recent seasons for Newcastle.
The former Bournemouth man scored nine goals in just 20 Premier League appearances for the Magpies in 2023/24, which is the sort of clinical form that could keep the Whites away from the relegation zone.
