Danny Mills Exclusive: The first Leeds summer signing is 'Done and dusted'
Danny Mills has claimed that it makes perfect sense for Jack Harrison to return to Leeds United on loan for a third time next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Elland Road full-back argued that the 23-year-old is in the best place for his career right now, and has done “fantastically well” during his time with the Whites.
Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth reported on Saturday evening that the winger will be rejoining Marcelo Bielsa’s men for a third consecutive term after director of football Victor Orta alluded to a potential deal in an interview with Spanish outlet Radio Marca.
And now that the transfer looks set to go ahead, Mills has hailed Elland Road chiefs for pulling off another solid piece of business.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “It’s done and dusted, and why wouldn’t he [want to return to Leeds]?
“Realistically, where else is he going to go and play his football?

“He’s done fantastically well. He’s been there for two seasons. He’s worked under a manager he understands, he’s playing regularly, he’s going to be playing Premier League football. Why would you not want to stay if you were Jack Harrison right now?
“That’s good sensible business from Andrea Radrizzani, Angus Kinnear, and Victor Orta.”
Harrison has featured in all 44 of Leeds’ Championship matches so far this season, scoring six goals and assisting eight more.
The winger is still yet to make his senior debut for parent club Manchester City.
