Leeds United have relegation 'problem' as 'massive' claim issued - Danny Mills
Leeds United could be dragged back into the relegation dogfight if they lose to Watford on Saturday and Everton and Burnley beat Man United and Norwich City, respectively.
That is the view of ex-Whites and England defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about a “massive weekend” for the relegation battle.
Leeds could end the weekend just three points behind Burnley in 18th-place having played two more games.
After the trip to Watford, Jesse Marsch’s side still have to play an in-form Crystal Palace, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
“It’s a massive weekend for fixtures and results,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Everton will be massively disappointed with their result against Burnley but it also means Burnley close the gap a little bit. It’s those two games in hand that they have got too, that’s a problem for Leeds at the moment.

“Everton have to win a game at some point and Burnley have got that fighting spirit.
“It’s Leeds v Watford and Norwich City v Burnley. Just imagine the scenario where Burnley win and Watford win, suddenly Leeds are right back in it and against it. Let’s say Everton win as well.
“You’re still looking for a couple of wins for Leeds to be safe. Nine games left for Burnley and Everton. There’s a team down there that always wins two or three surprisingly. They throw caution to the wind and just go for it.
“You can’t just bank on them picking up one win between now and the end of the season.
“If all the results go their way then maybe one win is all they need.”
