Kieran Maguire hails Leeds 'big ambitions' after triple hire bonanza
The three new executive appointments made at Leeds United give a clear indication of Andrea Radrizzani’s lofty ambitions for the club.
That is according to finance guru and Football Insider columnist Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively after Leeds announced the boardroom appointments last Thursday.
Peter Lowy, a lifelong Leeds fan and retail magnate, was appointed alongside former Fiorentina CEO Sandro Mencucci.

Aser Ventures CEO Massimo Marinelli, who helped procure the 49ers investment in January this year, is also a new face on the board.
Andre Tegner meanwhile stepped down as part of the reshuffle after four years as a director at Elland Road.
Maguire claimed that the trio of appointments show that Radrizzani is hungry for growth, both on the pitch and the balance sheets.

“There’s no doubt the club has big ambitions,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“Therefore, you need to be able to have people with experience of expansion and growth to achieve those ambitions.
“They’ve brought in someone with European football experience in Mencucci. They also have a potential investment from Peter Lowy. And in Marinelli, they have someone to tidy up the relationship with 49ers.
“This is all indicative of the long-term strategy for Radrizzani and the owners at the club as they seek to establish themselves in the Premier League.”
Leeds finished 9th in the final Premier League standings.
Their points total of 59 is the third-best by a newly-promoted side in the Premier League era.
