Miller can make 'big difference' at Leeds United as seven-figure bid submitted - Kenny
Amari Miller is the sort of player who can flourish at Leeds United and make a “big difference” in the future.
That is according to ex-Whites goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively after Football Insider revealed on 21st June that Leeds have submitted a £1.5million offer for the Birmingham City starlet.
The package for the 18-year-old is made up of a £200,000 basic fee rising to £1.5m with add-ons.
It comes after this site revealed on 15th June that Leeds are in advanced negotiations to land the striker after stealing a march on Everton.
He has been offered professional terms by Birmingham but his age means Leeds would need to pay a compensation fee in any case.
Kenny claimed that the approach for Miller is a low-risk, high-reward move.

“He sounds like the kind player who’d do well at Leeds,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“It’s difficult to throw too many young players in at once. But it’s not a lot of money in this day and age, £1.5m.
“It’s not like a massive gamble. If he’s one for the future, then why not go for it. He’s already played a few games in the first team at Birmingham.
“At 18 years old, I’m sure he’s a good prospect. For Leeds, it will be good for the future to get players in like this.
“You only need a few of them to come through and it can make a big difference.”
Miller made two starts among five appearances after making his senior debut last term.
He is one of five Birmingham scholars to be offered a professional contract as the club looks to overhaul its youth set-up.
