Leeds United tipped to sign international duo in January after source’s reveal – pundit
Leeds United must back Jesse Marsch as he attempts to overhaul his defence in January.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Marsch’s next move.
Leeds United had gone eight games without a win from mid-August until the end of October – but Marsch oversaw wins against Liverpool and Bournemouth to lift his side to 15th in the table.

The Whites signed off for the mid-season World Cup break with a thrilling 4-3 away loss at Tottenham.
Football Insider revealed on 12 November that Marsch is still on shaky ground at Leeds United despite the recent turnaround in form.
“I’m interested to see what happens with Marsch now,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“We know he is going to stay but is he going to be backed? Is he going to be given the money to turn this thing around?
“He has only been there less than a year, he’s had one transfer window and the squad is still Marcelo Bielsa’s, really.
“So it’s hard to judge. Could they be better at the back? Yes. They score a lot of goals and the kids he has brought in have all been sensational.
“So maybe they back him in January and give him the money to go out and buy some new defenders, at least two internationals, proven. If that happens and Leeds don’t improve then maybe, maybe think about replacing him.
“But he has to be backed. You have to back your guy in there 100%. Leeds can still have a great season, we have seen their quality in flashes.

“If they sort that defence out they will be sorted.
“You have to hope Marsch is backed.”
