Leeds United tipped to sign Tyler Roberts replacement after confirmed news – pundit
Tyler Roberts will find it “very, very difficult” to play for Leeds United after he returns from his long-term injury, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England full-back claimed Jesse Marsch will bring in his own signings in the summer and there may not be any room for Roberts in the squad.
The club confirmed last Monday (7 March) the 23-year-old was set for three months on the sidelines after surgery on a hamstring injury.

He suffered the injury in the 1-0 defeat to Leicester City earlier this month and Mills has claimed he could now be left behind under Marsch.
“It’s not like he’s got an unbelievable history of fantastic performances under his belt,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He hasn’t got a back catalogue to fall back on and say ‘Look, this is what I can offer, this is what I can deliver more often than not’.
“I look at that and think a new manager will clearly bring in new players in the summer. There were the two links with the Red Bull players in the January transfer window. We can see why now, it was long-term recruitment planning.
“There’s every chance that if you’re out for a while, yes, it’s very, very difficult to get back in.”

Roberts has two goals and three assists in 50 Premier League games for Leeds.
The Wales international is under contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2024.
