Leeds United’s three-man signing plan revealed – sources
Leeds United want to sign a central midfielder, a new winger and a right-back this summer in a triple swoop.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke explained that Daniel Farke is looking to strengthen his squad although more key players are still expected to leave Elland Road.
One of those expected to leave is Crysencio Summerville who has attracted interest from the Premier League, and his exit would open the door to the signing of a new winger.
Elsewhere, a new right-back is needed after the departures of Leeds stalwart Luke Ayling and Archie Gray, who had filled in as a makeshift option for Farke.
Ethan Ampadu was often asked to fill in at centre-back last season, but the club hope he will return to the midfield and want to bring in a new starting option to partner him.

It is set to be a busy summer at Elland Road after they failed to gain promotion to the Premier League after losing to Southampton in the playoff final.
The early departure of Gray has seen the club raise £40million which could now be reinvested into the first-team squad.
Gray’s exit has also handed Leeds room to operate in the transfer market after easing concerns over a potential profit and sustainability breach.
Farke is keen to strengthen and inspire his side to go again after the disappointment of last season, with their aim once more to reach the Premier League.
Leeds have already completed the signing of Joe Rodon, who returns to the club after a successful loan spell, and will now move on to other targets.
The likes of Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto and Georginio Rutter have been heavily linked to exits from Elland Road this summer and any player leaving will likely need replacing in the transfer market.
In other news, Leeds have been told to accept a bid for one key player.
