By Tom Blackburn
Former Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa is a target for Premier League champions Leicester, according to a report.
Ben Arfa left Newcastle on a free transfer last summer, but after just one season at French side Nice he is once again available for free as he looks for a bigger club.
Football website Goal.com claim that Ben Arfa is being lined up by Leicester to replace Riyad Mahrez, with PSG, Arsenal and Sevilla also interested.
There are claims that the Foxes have contacted the 29-year-old’s representatives to let them know of their interests.
French international Ben Arfa played 34 times in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 17 times to help Nice to an impressive fourth place finish.

It is said that the Frenchman’s preferred move is to PSG but he is open to the idea of leaving Ligue 1 in order to improve his chances of securing a place in France’s national team, having missed out on a spot in Didier Deschamps’ Euro 2016 squad.
A number of senior Newcastle players are likely to leave this summer following relegation, with Tim Krul, Moussa Sissoko and Cheik Tiote all linked with moves to teams in the top tier.
In other Newcastle news, they have been given an emphatic answer in pursuit of this on-fire striker.
