Leigh Griffiths delivers Twitter message to Celtic fans after win against Rangers
By Harvey Byrne
Leigh Griffiths hailed Celtic’s win over Rangers on Saturday, posting “what a way to finish the year” on his personal Twitter account.
The 26-year-old was reduced to watching the 2-1 win at Ibrox from the bench with Brendan Rodgers opting for Moussa Dembele for the clash.
However, the Edinburgh-born ace was still quick to react to his team-mates win on social media, while also wishing fans a happy new year.

The young French starlet more than justified Rodgers’ decision too and bagged his side’s equaliser on the 34th minute after the Hoops fell behind to a Kenny Miller strike.
Scott Sinclair then popped up with the winner after 70 minutes to hand his side the all important three points, leaving Celtic unbeaten and 19 points clear at the top of the Premiership table.
The Hoops are now going into a break until January 22, where they will face Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup.
