Twitter reacts to Rodgers injuring himself while celebrating Celtic v Rangers goal

Brendan Rodgers injured himself during Celtic’s 2-1 win at Rangers on Saturday afternoon – and fans on Twitter saw the funny side of his injury.
Former Liverpool manager Rodgers guided the Hoops to their 15th consecutive win at Ibrox, despite the home side taking an early lead.
Gers striker Kenny Miller slotted home into an open net after 12 minutes, but Moussa Dembele levelled the scores before the break with a powerful strike from a corner.
Summer signing Scott Sinclair scored the winner 20 minutes from time, which sent Rodgers into jubilation and as a result he injured himself.
Football fans on Twitter could not help but see the funny side of Rodgers’ celebration as he guided the club 19 points clear at the top of the SPL table.

One supporter joked that Rodgers is set to be out of action for four weeks after sustaining a knee injury.
While others just laughed at the Northern Irishman as they were hoping to see a replay of his celebration.
Furthermore, another fan joked that other managers should take note of Rodgers’ celebration, while they hailed him as true champion.

Rodgers is well on course to lifting the Scottish Premiership title in his first season in Glasgow.
He has already won a domestic trophy when the Hoops beat Aberdeen 3-0 in November to lift the Scottish League Cup.
