Liam Bridcutt shares Leeds masterplan ahead of Fulham clash
By Dominic Toner
Leeds midfielder Liam Briductt claims his side will be on the front foot and vying for the three points against Fulham.
The Whites travel to Craven Cottage on Tuesday night for an important match in the Championship.
Garry Monk’s side are currently fourth-placed in the league and are in a strong position to finish inside the play-off positions.
Meanwhile, seventh-placed Fulham appear to be Leeds’ biggest threat of preventing that and are eight points adrift of them with a game in hand.
The Yorkshire giants could be forgiven for thinking an away point at Fulham would be a good result for their promotion aspirations.

However, Leeds captain Bridcutt has revealed that his team are going to be searching for maximum points and stick to their normal positive game plan.
“We go into every game wanting to win and knowing we can win,” Bridcutt said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post. “Tuesday’s going to be no different. We’re going there to be on the front foot, looking to win the game.”
Bricutt is likely to continue in the Leeds starting line-up and will be looking to keep an dangerous Fulham side quiet.
The 27-year-old has been an important player for Monk this season and usually helps protect the back four.
He could be kept very busy against a Fulham side that have scored 59 league goals this season, which is 10 more than Leeds have managed.
Slavisa Jokanovic has created an attack-minded side that are regarded as one of the best teams in the Championship to watch this season.
In contrast, Monk’s side have proved they can be defensively resolute and will be looking to grind out another result in their pursuit of a Premier League return.
