Liam Cooper delivers Leeds Twitter verdict after draw against Fulham
By Dominic Toner
Leeds defender Liam Cooper believes his side earned a valuable point against a “very good Fulham side” on Tuesday night.
The Whites recorded a 1-1 away draw at Craven Cottage and maintained their place inside the play-off positions.
The Yorkshire giants appeared to be heading towards all three points due to a Tim Ream away goal in the fifth minute.
However, Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips was sent off for a second yellow card in the 89th minute and Fulham went on snatch a point through Tom Cairney’s long-range effort in stoppage time.
Cooper claims that his team were disappointed by conceding a lot goal, but feels it was another good point against a good team.

Leeds managed to avoid defeat against seventh-placed Fulham, who appear to be the biggest threat to the sides currently in the play-off positions.
The Whites stay fourth in the league table and have an eight point gap of Fulham, who do still have a game in hand.
Monk’s side have been in the promotion picture for the majority of the campaign and are expected to be in the play-offs at the end of the season.
They now turn their attention to two home matches at Elland Road against QPR and Brighton.
