Cummings raves about Rangers fan favourite after sealing Ibrox switch

New Rangers striker Jason Cummings believes he will link well with prolific Colombian Alfredo Morelos in the Gers attack – and admits ‘El Bufalo’ “likes a goal himself”.
Cummings has agreed a six-month loan deal with the Ibrox giants  – with Rangers having the option to make it permanent in the summer.
The former Hibs striker becomes the Gers fourth signing on the January transfer window as manager Graeme Murty revamps the squad he inherited from predecessor Pedro Caixinha.
Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy have both agreed loan deals with the Light Blues while Declan John has agreed a permanent switch from Cardiff City.
Cummings thinks he could link well with Morelos in the Gers attack as he praised the 21-year-old Colombian.
“He likes a goal himself, he’s strong, he’s young and I could see us linking up well,” Cumming said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

Morelos has wasted no time in developing himself into a fan favourite at Ibrox and is the Scottish Premiership’s top goalscorer so far this season with 10 goals in 20 league games for Graeme Murty’s side.
The 21-year-old helped himself to a brace in the Gers’ Florida Cup win over Brazilian champions Corinthians on Saturday as the Light Blues rounded off their preparations for the second-half of the season.
Cummings could get the chance to line up alongside Morelos when the Gers travel to tiny Bellslea Park to take on Highland League minnows Fraserburgh in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
In other Rangers news, this international is expected to undergo a medical with the Gers on Tuesday.
