Football Insider verdict
Can has been a great servant for Liverpool over the past few years but it’s a massive shame that he will be leaving on a free transfer when he is clearly a player who has major value in the transfer market. The German will be a great signing for Juventus and will slot into their midfield which has been crying out for an improvement since Paul Pogba joined Manchester United. Agreeing a deal with Juve at this early stage could mean that fans won’t see him play again for the Reds, given his injury woes and the fact that Jurgen Klopp may want players who are fully committed to play out the campaign.
In other Liverpool news, the Reds are working on two midfield goal machine deals with one on the verge of an agreement.
