The versatile defender, who can be used at either right-back or centre-back, spent the 2013/14 campaign at Derby and impressed by cementing his spot in the starting line-up.
He spent last year with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg and made 24 appearances, including five n the Europa League.
Wisdom has made just 22 senior appearances for Liverpool since graduating through their academy and now looks set to end his nine-year spell at Anfield.
Football Insider verdict:
Liverpool will do well to receive £2million for Wisdom this summer after sending him out on numerous loans over the years. The defender was tipped to have a bright future as a youngster, but has been unable to match the hype. He is unlikely to break into the Liverpool backline despite Jurgen Klopp’s issues in that position, highlighting how far away he is from the top level. However, a move to Derby should be a good move for Wisdom and give him the chance to get his career back on track. The 24-year-old impressed during his last spell at the iPro Stadium and could become an important player for Gary Rowett’s side.
