Alberto Moreno played the full 90 minutes as Liverpool crashed out of the FA Cup with a 2-1 defeat to Wolves on Saturday – and fans took to Twitter to hammer his display.
The left-back, 24, was named in a weakened starting XI as manager Jurgen Klopp rang the changes with one eye on next Tuesday’s Premier League showdown against Chelsea.
But Moreno struggled badly against the Championship side and was frequently caught out of position as the visitors destroyed Liverpool on the counter-attack.
Liverpool fans took to social media to express their frustration at Moreno’s performance, with many claiming he should be sold in the summer.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Moreno has had a difficult season after losing his place as the team’s regular left-back to midfielder-turned-defender James Milner following the opening-day 4-3 win at Arsenal.
The Spaniard was handed his 13th appearance of the season against Wolves but was selected in the starting XI for only the eighth time.
Moreno, who joined Liverpool from Seville in the summer of 2014, is set to make way for Milner next week when the first choice returns.
The Premier League title chasers are at their home stadium for a fourth consecutive match on Tuesday when Chelsea visit for a momentous encounter.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the club have tabled a mega bid for a young defender and a record-breaking deal has been agreed.
