Liverpool fans rage as 30-year-old starts against Leicester
By Amir Mir
Lucas Leiva starts for Liverpool as they take on Leicester City in a Premier League clash on Monday night – and fans on Twitter are not pleased with his selection.
The Reds have a chance to move into the top four if they can beat their opponents away from home.
Midfielder Lucas was selected ahead of Ragnar Klavan as it seems Jurgen Klopp will utilise the Brazilain in a centre-back role.
Supporters were raging at his decision to pick the 30-year-old in this position as they questioned why summer signing Ragnar Klavan was not starting.
It is not the first time Lucas has played in a back four this term as the experienced campaigner will be looking to stop the threat from Foxes striker Jamie Vardy.
Many fans were worried about Klopp’s selection as they are hoping to clinch a valuable three points.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

The Reds are fifth in the Premier League table on 49 points from their 25 games, knowing a win would see them move up to third.
During their last match, they beat fellow Champions League chasers Tottenham 2-0 on home soil when Sadio Mane netted a brace.
Now, they will take on a managerless Foxes team that sacked their title winning manager Claudio Ranieri earlier on in the week.
The duo faced each other in the reverse encounter in September, with the Merseyside club picking an empathic 4-1 win at Anfield.
