Liverpool fans react amusingly on Twitter to Ryan Giggs comments
By Harvey Byrne
Ryan Giggs revealed that he would never become the manager of Liverpool – and Reds fans reacted amusingly on Twitter, responding that it would never happen anyway.
The Manchester United legend, who spent the duration of his 24-year playing career at the Red Devils spoke at the Welsh Community Football Awards, where he emphatically ruled out managing the Merseyside giants.
The former Wales international is looking for a job in management following a spell with United’s coaching staff, but he has been quick to rule out a job on the home side’s touchline at Anfield.
Liverpool fans took to social media following the revelation, with some dismissing it as a non-story and saying it would never happen anyway.

Has Giggs already turned down managing Brazilian national team for the next 10 years as #lfc's Coutinho and Firmino are part of the set-up..

Absolutely gutted. Was hoping Giggs could take the job if Jurgen fails to win us the league this season. #LFC https://t.co/bxql5U5E1R

Giggs to @LFC is such a non-story.
Much like Gerrard or Carra to @ManUtd ever would be.
Just media trying to stir up trouble.#LFC #MUFC— Richard Murphy (@papasmurf1601) October 10, 2016
@MirrorFootball I don't think Giggs needs to worry himself about managing #lfc

Given the recent success of Jurgen Klopp’s reign in charge of the Merseysiders, many supporters will be hoping that their club aren’t on the look for a new manager in the near future.
The Reds will face their fierce rivals, United in their next league fixture with the tie set to be played at Anfield next Monday.
Both club’s are in impressive form in the new campaign with just three points separating Liverpool in fourth from Manchester United in sixth.
