Liverpool fans react on Twitter as 26-year-old bags another brace

Liverpool fans can’t believe their eyes on Twitter after Mario Balotelli scored another brace for new club Nice in their emphatic 4-0 win against Monaco.
The 26-year-old has began his time with ambitious Ligue 1 side Nice in fine form, scoring two goals against Marseille before adding another two to his tally on Wednesday night against Monaco, who were reduced to 10 men.
It’s spark contract from Balotelli’s form prior to joining Nice, after the former Premier League winner scored the same amount of goals he’s struck for his new side in 28 league and cup encounters for Liverpool.
Balotelli fell down the pecking order at Anfield, and was told to find a new club by manager Jurgen Klopp with the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Fans have reacted with astonishment at Balotelli’s rediscovered goalscoring touch, after joining Lucien Favre’s side on a free transfer.

The Italy international missed out on this summer’s European Championships after suffering another wayward season in front of goal, bagging just three goals and providing one assist in Serie A while on loan to AC Milan.
In other Liverpool news, Jurgen Klopp has claimed this player was brilliant against Derby.
