Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Mane display against South Africa

Sadio Mane played in Senegal’s World Cup qualifier on Saturday afternoon, and Liverpool fans were happy on Twitter that he left the field unscathed.
The 24-year-old fleet-footed attacker played the full 90 minutes as his side suffered suffered a 2-1 loss against South Africa.
The Liverpool attacker didn’t trouble the score sheet during his performance, but he was involved in a few challenges from the opposition.
This brought many comments from Reds fans on social media stating that they were pleased he left the field in one piece.

The Senegal teams includes several known names, which includes Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Everton’s Idrissa Gana Gueye, West Ham’s Cheikhou Kouyate and Mane.
However, the defeat has left them in second place in their qualifying group after two fixtures, with South Africa taking the top spot on four points.
The African side aren’t set to play any more fixtures this international break with Mane set to return to Anfield with a clash against former side Southampton at St Marys coming up next.
The Reds will be keen to push on, on the south coast as they nestle at the top of the Premier League table, one point clear of second placed Chelsea.
