Liverpool fans reacted with amusement on Twitter as Manchester United lost 2-1 against Fenerbahce on Thursday evening.
United’s woes under Jose Mourinho continued as they went two goals down against the Turkish side after an hour during their Europa League group match.
An early overhead kick from Moussa Sow proved too good for David De Gea and instead of responding, United let in a second from Jeremain Lens just before the hour mark.
Wayne Rooney grabbed a late goal but Manchester United were unable to get the winner, with just minutes left on the clock.
Liverpool fans have enjoyed seeing their rivals struggle this season despite Mourinho spending £89 million on France star, Paul Pogba.
The former Juventus midfielder has failed to live up to expectations so far this season and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has struggled in recent weeks despite making a blistering start to his United career.
The Merseysiders currently sit in third position, eight points ahead of United who are struggling to hit top form and sit in eighth place in the Premier League table.
The two sides couldn’t break the deadlock during their head-to-head encounter at Anfield last month, though Jurgen Klopp’s side were evidently the better team.
Since then, United have won just two of their last five fixtures and were humiliated 4-0 during a rout at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Really don't understand what's happening in Manchester. Jose's a terrific manager, he's just his own worst enemy.
