The English-born winger has previously pledged his allegiance to Wales over England, and has featured in the past for Wales’ youth sides.
But he could be set to cement his future with the Welsh national side if he makes his debut in their upcoming competitive fixture.
If he does not make his debut against Republic of Ireland, Woodburn will have to wait until June when Wales visit Serbia in their next World Cup qualifier.
In other Liverpool news, Leeds have reportedly opened talks to sign this young Reds attacker.
