Liverpool fans thrilled by new Cody Gakpo footage ahead of PSG showdown

Liverpool have been handed a significant injury boost ahead of a crucial week in their season after a new development regarding Cody Gakpo.

Arne Slot’s men have been bitten by the injury bug lately with Connor Bradley, Joe Gomez, and Gakpo all being sidelined for various reasons.

However, Liverpool have managed to remain consistent with their performances to build up a 15-point gap at the top of the Premier League table.

The Reds are set for two major matches away from the Premier League this week though as they face PSG on Tuesday (11 March) in the Champions League and then Newcastle on Sunday (16 March) in the EFL Cup final.

Liverpool boasts a one-goal lead heading into the second leg of their Round of 16 tie against PSG following what was a very tense first leg that was dominated by the French outfit.

An outstanding performance from Alisson Becker and a late goal from Harvey Elliott have allowed Liverpool to have a slender lead to protect for the game at Anfield.
