Liverpool have ‘major problem’ with Ryan Gravenberch after what fans spotted vs Nottingham Forest
Liverpool fans want Arne Slot to drop Ryan Gravenberch to the bench after his performance against Nottingham Forest.
Gravenberch has been one of the first names on the team sheet under Slot, and that continued with his presence in midfield at Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool failed to register a shot on target in a difficult first half at the City Ground, with Slot’s team relieved to go in 0-0 at the half-time interval.
However, the Reds had the better of the second period, and Alexis Mac Allister netted a 97th minute winner to give them all three points.

Ryan Gravenberch puts in ‘unacceptable’ display vs Nottingham Forest
Liverpool headed to the City Ground following back-to-back wins in league and cup, but they were put on the back foot from the start against their hosts.
Gravenberch did little to protect his back four, as Nottingham Forest registered 12 shots alone in the first half.
The 23-year-old was not the only player on the end of criticism from supporters, but one fan called Gravenberch “the worst midfielder I’ve ever seen.”
One supporter believes that the Netherlands international is “the most overrated player” at the club, whilst others called his performance “atrocious.”

Liverpool exploring attacking options
With the future of Cody Gakpo uncertain, and Mohamed Salah expected to leave Anfield in the summer transfer window, Liverpool will be looking to bolster their attack for next season.
Former Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez could be a target in the summer, although they would face competition from the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona.
Alvarez is not considering a move back to the Premier League yet though, after spending two seasons at Man City between 2022 and 2024.

Newcastle‘s Anthony Gordon is also a target ahead of a potential summer move, with the 24-year-old having scored 14 goals in all competitions this season.
Gordon has previously played for Liverpool’s rivals Everton, but the forward grew up a supporter of the club and would be willing to move back to Merseyside.
Champions League football could be imperative if Liverpool are to sign their top targets in the summer, with Slot’s side currently sixth in the Premier League table.
