Senior players react on Twitter as Liverpool move joint top

Liverpool players reacted positively on Twitter as the club moved to the top of the Premier League, level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City.
Simon Mignolet, Loris Karius and Nathaniel Clyne all posted celebratory tweets as their side enjoyed another impressive weekend in the league.
It was almost the perfect weekend for Liverpool as Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City all dropped points and the Reds beat West Brom.

Jurgen Klopp’s side secured a commanding 2-1 win on Saturday evening after watching Tottenham and Arsenal suffer goalless draws earlier on in the day.
Manchester City were then unable to pounce on the opportunity and needed a second-half goal from Kelechi Iheanacho to equalise with Southampton after a shocking defensive error from John Stones put them on the back foot.

Liverpool are currently behind Arsenal and Manchester City on goal difference as the top five teams all went within a point of each other in a hotly contested start to the Premier League season.
The Reds have recorded victories against Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester City already this season as well as recording vital draws against Manchester United and Tottenham.

Their attacking form has been emphatic and Liverpool are being considered as one of the favourites to win the Premier League during the early stages of the campaign.
