Liverpool star Kaide Gordon agrees Portsmouth move – sources
Liverpool winger Kaide Gordon has agreed to join Portsmouth on loan for the rest of the season, sources have told Football Insider.
The 20-year-old was recently recalled from a loan deal at Norwich City after only managing limited minutes in the first half of the campaign.
The England Under-20 international has only made 10 appearances for Norwich in the Championship, but only one of those came from the starting lineup.
Gordon played no longer than 58 minutes in any one game, with the majority of his appearances being cameo roles.
Now he is set for a move to Fratton Park in a bid to get more playing time during the second half of the campaign.
Portsmouth are currently 20th in the Championship and are set to be involved in a fight for survival until the end of the season, which Gordon will be looking to help with.
Kaide Gordon is not the only Liverpool player being loaned out
Gordon has made seven appearances for Liverpool’s first team throughout his career, and he became the club’s youngest FA Cup goalscorer in 2022 during a win against Shrewsbury.
The versatile forward can play all across the frontline but is predominantly a right winger.
Gordon isn’t the only prospect that the Reds are loaning out before the January transfer window slams shut.

It will be Danns’ first senior loan away from the Premier League giants as he looks for more regular game time to develop his career.
