Divock Origi, who is currently on-loan at Wolfsburg from Liverpool, has not ruled out the possibility of making the move permanent.
In an interview with German newspaper Bild, the 22-year-old revealed that he is enjoying his football in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg this season and did not rule out staying longer.
He said: “It’s a nice club and I am having a good time, I can grow here.
“And you can never rule anything out in football.”
The striker has played nine times across all competitions for Wolfsburg, scoring three goals, but he’s currently lighting the league up – his three goals have come in the last six league games.
The versatile youngster along with being able to play as a centre-forward, can also be utilise on either wing if needed by his manager.
In his time at Anfield the young Belgian striker played 77 times and netted 21 goals after Liverpool bought the player from Lille in 2014.
The striker did instantly get loaned back to Lille and spent the 2014/15 season playing his football in Ligue 1.
Wolfsburg sporting director in the same article with Bild did state that his club would have a “chat” with Liverpool in the summer regarding Origi’s future.
Origi’s loan deal is currently set to finish at the end of season, with the star still under contract to the Reds until June 2019.
