
Lord Sugar: Pochettino made big mistake letting this player quit Tottenham

Lord Sugar believes that Tottenham made a mistake in allowing Gylfi Sigurdsson to leave White Hart Lane.
The attacking midfielder left Spurs in the summer transfer window of 2014 just after Mauricio Pochetttino was appointed as manager.
He completed a move to Premier League rivals Swansea and defender Ben Davies moved in the other direction.
Spurs completed an impressive 5-0 victory against Swansea on Saturday in the league, with Sigurdsson lining up against his old team.
Former Spurs chairman Lord Sugar claimed on his personal Twitter account that it was a “big mistake” to allow Sigurdsson to leave.
Sigurdsson was unable to produce his top form during his 83 appearances for Spurs, but certainly showed glimpses of his potential.
The 27-year-old has become Swansea’s most influential player, scoring five goals and supplying four assists in 15 appearances this season.
He will play a major role if Swansea are to steer away from the relegation places and also proved his qualities with Iceland at Euro 2016.
Spurs ended a recent run of one victory in 10 games against Swansea, but have certainly lacked a creative threat this season.
Pochettino is extremely reliant on English youngster Dele Alli in the number 10 position and he is yet to recreate his form from last season.
