Lord Sugar reacts on Twitter to Tottenham draw v Burnley
By Harvey Byrne
Celebrity fan and former chairman Lord Sugar reacted angrily on Twitter to Tottenham’s Sunday draw against Burnley, stating Spurs need to start converting their chances.
The north Londoners were held to a 1-1 draw at Wembley on Sunday with a second half goal from Dele Alli being cancelled out by a late effort from new Burnley signing Chris Wood.
The match saw Mauricio Pochettino’s side finish with 28 shots on total with just five of them hitting the target, while Burnley had 13 shots with three hitting the targeting alongside one finding it’s way past Hugo Lloris.
Those stats caused much anger among the Tottenham fan base as they watched their side squander numerous chances and that included Lord Sugar, who stated via his personal Twitter account that it was a “stupid” goal to concede and that the likes of Harry Kane and Alli must start putting their chances away instead of hitting them towards opponents.
90% of the play Spurs let in a stupid goal to make it 1-1. We must put our chances away instead of kicking them at the opponents players

Tottenham finished in second place in the last campaign with the most goals scored across a 38-game season with 86 strikes from their games, including 29 goals coming from top scorer Kane.
