Lord Sugar sends message to Chelsea after Tottenham victory
By Dominic Toner
Lord Sugar has cranked up the pressure on Chelsea on Twitter by saying Tottenham could be just four points behind them by Wednesday night.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have been the runaway leaders in the Premier League for the majority of the season and have been expected to clinch the title over the last few months.
However, Saturday’s results breathed new air into the title race as the Blues lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, second-placed Spurs managed to pick up a 2-0 away victory at Burnley and close the gap to just seven points.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side travel to Swansea on Wednesday night in the league, while Chelsea host Manchester City.

“Chelsea v Man City. Swansea v Spurs Wednesday. Interesting, we could end up just four points behind them, or 10 points,” Sugar wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs now look set to apply some pressure on Chelsea and will hope to dislodge their London rivals from the summit.
Pochettino’s side have now won their last five consecutive games across all competitions and are continuing their league form without injured talisman Harry Kane.
Eric Dier and Heung-Min Son chipped in with the goals against Burnley at Turf Moor, proving that they have plenty of goalscoring options in their squad.
