Lucas Paqueta and Dom Solanke react to Richarlison’s ‘final’ Tottenham message
Richarlison posted a positive message to the Tottenham supporters amid speculation around his future at the club.
Tottenham booked their place in a European final for the first time since their heartbreaking Champions League defeat in 2019, securing victory over Bodo/Glimt to reach the Europa League final.
Spurs carried a two-goal advantage into the second leg and stretched that lead further when Dominic Solanke broke the deadlock shortly after the hour mark.
Pedro Porro continued his excellent form in the competition, with his cross curling in off the post to seal a 2-0 win on the night and send Ange Postecoglou’s side through.
However, Richarlison endured a frustrating evening for Spurs and was unable to make an impact, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his future.
Former Man City financial advisor Stefan Borson told Football Insider that Tottenham could look to sell Richarlison this summer to reinvest in the squad.
Still, the Brazilian had a message for the supporters displaying where his focus currently lies.
Everton may face stumbling block in Richarlison return
Despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future at the club, the forward posted a motivated message on Instagram to say: “GO TO FINAL”.
His post drew plenty of reactions, with Dominic Solanke commenting “Final [soon]”, while West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta and Micky van de Ven also liked the post.
Although spirits are high in the squad, there remains a real possibility that the Brazilian won’t be playing in North London next season.
Football Insider revealed that Richarlison is attracting interest from former club Everton, nearly three years after leaving Goodison Park due to financial constraints.
However, Spurs are keen to recoup as much of the £60 million fee they paid for him back in 2022, which is a figure that could prove too steep for Everton, even after the recent cash injection following The Friedkin Group’s takeover.

Marco Silva could accept Tottenham job as Ange Postecoglou pressure continues
Despite guiding Spurs to a European final, Postecoglou has come under increasing pressure due to a disappointing domestic campaign.
A potential replacement may already be on the radar, with Football Insider revealing that Marco Silva would be open to taking over at Tottenham this summer if Postecoglou is dismissed.
Whether the Australian keeps his job will likely depend on whether he can deliver European silverware and whether his claim of always winning something in his second season rings true.
