Luke Graham: Dundee star looks destined to snub Celtic in favour of Rangers
Luke Graham has a better chance of being a consistent starter at Rangers than he does at Celtic next season as both clubs eye a move for his services.
Graham has been a key performer for Dundee this season after helping Falkirk to promotion from the Championship during a loan spell last term.
His strong performances have seen both Old Firm clubs linked with a move for his services ahead of the summer, after Dundee turned down a club-record bid from Portsmouth in January.
The 22-year-old should prioritise a move to Rangers over Celtic this summer because there is a much clearer path opening up to being a regular starter straight away at Ibrox.
Rangers’ transfer plans will also hinge on whether they qualify for the Champions League, which they are currently more likely to do than their arch-rivals.

Sources have told Football Insider that Rangers and Celtic are battling to sign Graham this summer, with the former believed to be leading the race as it stands.
Rangers are concerned about losing key centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez this summer after his impressive debut campaign, with Arsenal and West Ham among the clubs tracking his progress.

Nasser Djiga is set to return to Wolves at the end of his loan spell at Ibrox, with a permanent move unlikely, while Ben Davies will leave when his contract expires in June after a loan spell at Oxford.
They will desperately need a new centre-back this summer, while Celtic are less likely to need one, and so Graham should pick a move to Ibrox.
All of their senior centre-backs are under contract and seem less likely to leave after a largely disappointing campaign.
The likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales are all still reliable performers, though, and Graham would surely struggle to start consistently over any of that trio.
As well as game time reasons, Rangers are two points ahead of Celtic and in better form, so look more likely to be able to offer Champions League football to the Dundee man for next term.
What has Steven Pressley said about Graham’s future?
Graham has insisted that he wants to “block out” any of the talk around his future past this season, especially as Dundee aim to pull away from the Premiership relegation zone over the next month.
Dees boss Pressley has been pretty open and honest about where he sees the 22-year-old moving to this summer, however, and it is not to either Old Firm club.
He recently said: “His form has been terrific, he’s got better and better. Am I surprised by the speculation? Absolutely not. We’ve received no further offers.
“Do I expect us to receive them in the summer? Probably, based on his form. The club will only sell Luke if we receive the finance we feel he’s worth.
“He’s a great talent who I think can go on and play right at the very top. A player like Luke Graham probably, in his own mind, wants to play at a top club. A club in the English Premier League, that’s his ambition. At Dundee we can’t provide that ambition.”
