Luke Littler reacts to major Jack Grealish to Newcastle development
Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has been linked with a dramatic move to Newcastle, and Darts world champion Luke Litter has reacted.
Grealish made a £100m move from Aston Villa to City back in the summer of 2020, but struggled to settle into Pep Guardiola’s side at first.
However, the winger found his feet during his second season in Manchester, as the Citizens won a historic treble.
Over the last 12 months though, the England international has struggled for game time, and Football Insider exclusively revealed that Grealish feels like he is being frozen out by Guardiola.

Grealish could make shock move to Newcastle
With Grealish expected to leave Man City this summer, it has emerged that Newcastle are one of the teams interested in securing the services of the former Aston Villa man.

Eddie Howe’s side will play Champions League football next season, after securing a top-five spot on the last day of the Premier League season, despite a 1-0 defeat to Everton.
The Magpies are reportedly keen on signing the City winger on loan, but will face stiff competition to secure his signature.
TalkSPORT announced the breaking news on their official Instagram account, sharing a photo of Grealish in a Newcastle shirt, with Littler liking the post.
Napoli are also eager to bring Grealish to Italy, so Newcastle will need to fight off the Serie A champions in order to bring the attacker to St James’ Park.
Grealish must resurrect England career
Football Insider Verdict
Ahead of England’s abject 1-0 win over Andorra on Saturday (7 June), Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel publicly informed Grealish exactly what he must do to make a return to international football.
The former Chelsea manager told the press that the 29-year-old must be playing matches every three days, if he wants any chance of making the 2026 World Cup squad.
It’s clear that Grealish will not get that at City, but he must choose his next club carefully to ensure that he is allowed to flourish.
Back in his Villa days, the winger would drive at defenders with pace and skill, often showcasing the individualistic side of his game rather than constantly passing the ball backwards.
Guardiola’s system has struggled to play to Grealish’s strengths, and it has felt at times as if the England international has been held back by the Spanish manager, so wherever he ends up, it will be exciting to see a revitalised talent.
